Ajax was just about to go to bite off Zig's ear, when he felt teeth grab the back of his neck and hoist him in the air. Next thing he knew, he was bouncing against Juliet's chest, his paws flailing wildly in the air. He had not experienced this sensation since he was a little kit, still vying for milk rather than flesh. It was hardly as cute now with the dog's hot breath ringing in his ears and his body swinging in a nauseating fashion. Even though he knew she was helping, he still squirmed against her tight grasp. Desperately, he yowled out, "DAMN IT JULES PUT ME DOWN!" He kept whining like that until the two reached the park, where the dog finally sat him down.
His paws were shaking, as if it had been a lifetime since they felt the cement. He turned around and faced Juliet as he gradually gained his senses and his anger. The cat opened his mouth to yell, to scream, to complain wildly, but instead, he laughed. His quick temper subsided when he realized that the two of them could have very well been killed back there. It was replaced with a light-heart that had Ajax laughing until he was wheezing. "We did it. We did it, Juliet! Ha, we survived the graveyard at night! What a day, huh?" He caught his breath, settling down just to a sly smile. "S'alright, though. You did what you had do. That bastard probably would of got unstuck there in a second. Wished I could've gave him a couple more scars though. Still, his face is gonna be uuuugly," he chuckled once more. Then, he muttered, "But seriously, don't pick me up like that again. I nearly threw up it's so bumpy."
