"Of course. The more the merrier." Crowley said with a nod and stood. When she asked about him, he shook his head. "Save the questions for later, love. Do well on this mission and you can ask whatever you like." He stretched a bit and watched her inspect the church. It was far beyond modest dwellings, and he had been lucky to find something so convenient and vacant. According to the other dogs in the area, the church had been empty for some time. Crowley had known that the first moment he stepped foot in it. Now, with Rua and Vivian having helped with the decor, it looked much better. He didn't plan on entertaining too many guests here. Marco was allowing him to use his warehouse space for that. As far as he was concerned, headquarters was all of Church and Wallace, not just the church that served as home for his band of misfits. He watched the sky grow darker and darker outside as the sun sank, and finally he summoned Alfonso and Lorenzo with a bark. The two came forth and stood before him. "You two will accompany Miss Dawn as far as the line into Mancini territory, then you fall back to your positions. Alfonso, I want you somewhere toward the back. They know you as the one who wounded their junkyard guard." The two nodded, turning to Dawn and awaiting further instruction. "We aren't all moving together." He explained, "It would look too suspicious. We all get to our marks and we stay there. Try not to draw attention. We just need ten pounds. Think you can carry it?" He paused for a moment and nodded. "'Course you can. Don't know what I was thinking."
He looked to them and explained that the contact was in IL Mercato. "Be looking for a mastiff at the barbeque joint right next to the cross street. He'll hand it off and be gone. Don't ask questions, just go. And make sure you take a different route than normal back to the church. We don't want them suspecting anything."
He stood and shook out his fur. "You three are dismissed. Go to your posts. I'm going to go relay this information to Toni and Viva."
Alfonso and Lorenzo nodded, and then waited for Dawn to head off before following.
--------------
Vivian nodded to Toni. Yeah, she knew he was unpredictable, but that was the fun of it. If he was as boring as Boss Mancini she would have split a long time ago. She had no patience for boredom. "Speak of the Devil." She said, casting her gaze behind her as Crowley approached and began to explain what he told to Dawn and the others.
"I'm not involving anyone else with this. We don't need to leave headquarters unmanned. You two go on ahead, and I'll bring up the rear." They knew him to well around there for him to be anywhere near Mancini territory at the moment. So, he would hold his position right at the edge of Church and Wallace. Alfonso would be at the checkpoint before him, then Lorenzo, then Vivian, then Toni. If everything went well, they would be rolling in it with the profits of one of the biggest vendors in the System being split fifty-fifty.
Vivian nodded and began to head off, not bothering to wait for Toni. If he couldn't keep up she would leave him behind.
