A Stroll Through the City (Open)

Adeline walked along the sidewalk, simply enjoying herself for now. She always spent so much time chasing after rumours and looking for stories because of her 'job' that she hardly had any time to herself anymore. This part of the city was far from peaceful, but it wasn't in absolute pandemonium either. The Dalmatian kept her eyes open for anyone she would recognize, even though she liked this moment where she was 'alone', she would gladly talk to a friend if she saw one.

The elegant dog was in a good mood, and she didn't think she'd mind making new friends today if she didn't end up seeing anyone she did know already. The sun was shining, and the clouds in the sky were the bright, soft, puffy variety that cast intriguing shadows randomly across the city. In short, it was a beautiful day, and Adeline had no intention of finding anything wrong with this day at all.

A morning stroll? Seemed simple enough. Though he was the most watched of all the canines in Bensonhurst right now, it didn't mean he couldn't be free of his cage that he called a home, which amounted to a rather large church that was so run down he was scared it might collapse. He needed to be free of the stale air that settled now with all the dogs that resided there. He needed to breathe. What better place than the park?

It seemed as though it was his lucky day as well, for it wasn't long before he stumbled upon Miss Adeline. The short bulldog trotted over after seeing her alone in the park. He fell into step beside her, sending a grin up at her as she towered over his short stature. "Morning, Miss Adeline. Out for a stroll?" He asked, giving a tilt of his head as that dangerous smirk played on his lips. Crowley wasn't one for being bored, and he was sure that Adeline would not disappoint in that department.

Adeline recognized Crowley's voice immediately, but she was in such a good mood that she decided not to spoil it with the thoughts of how the bulldog handled business. "Good morning, Mister Crowley. As a matter of fact, I am. Are you as well?" She replied as she looked at him. He seemed to be in a good mood as well, and the dalmatian continued on to nonchalantly, almost unintentionally, question him about his business, indirectly. "How has life been recently?"

Adeline knew that she would probably get a generic answer, a vague hint at something at best, but she really didn't care at the moment. She considered herself 'off duty' for now, and even if something worth investigating showed up right in front of her nose, she was going to leave it be. Anything that happened today would be off the record, unless something extremely unusual happened, but that seemed unlikely at the moment. The graceful dalmatian knew she wasn't being very 'reporter-like', but that wasn't her concern right now. Her primary objective was to have a peaceful, relaxing day, and so far Adeline was doing just that.
