"A yeeah?!"
Leonardo couldn't begin to imagine the agony of having a collar on, but definitely not for a whole year! Man that had to be excruciating! And it was definitely constricting her neck. He knew that for sure. Many of his friends had collars at one point. They were nearly suffocating whenever they came to him, begging him to get rid of it. It was a tricky process, but Frankie had perfected it using a strange bite. However, he was probably not back at the house, so he'd have to do it Vinny's way. Cutting it on a sharp edge.
Part of Leo was angry at himself for not discovering Juliet sooner. Had he done so, he could have ended her suffering with that blasted collar. Though he couldn't rightly blame himself, he was deeply saddened that she had gone through such a terrible experience.
"C'maan, Julie. Let's 'ead ovah to my place. We'll 'afta go to da junkyawd." He stepped out of the dark alley and back onto the streets when he was met by a familiar voice.
"Boss!"
"Guido! Boy am I glad to see you!" Guido outside of the Industrial Park only meant one thing. He was here in the truck.
"You came through just in time, Boss. We're headin' back 'ome any minute. You needa ride?" He nodded towards Juliet. "New girlfriend?" He smirked mischievously.
Leonardo grinned. "Awlways nosy, Guido? Don't you rememba what 'appened last time when you meddled in an' oldah man's biz'ness?"
Guido shook his head and slumped back in his chair, defeated. "Hardy har, Bawss."
Hopping in the back of the trailer, Leo gestured for Juliet to follow. "C'maan Juliet. Nothin' to be afraid of. We're taken a shortcut home."
