NAME: Calogero Moretti GENDER: Male AGE: 4 years BREED: Pure Australian Shepherd APPEARANCE: Fur: Deep, liver brown with rust colored highlights along the spine, flanks, legs, maw and "eyebrows", white chest/belly, left foreleg and ruff. Eyes: Amber Height: 23 inches Weight: 62lbs Build: Strong, long legged, slender, decently muscled. Distinguishing features: Cross-like white marking across chest/belly, rust colored tints around the muzzle and forms "eyebrows", striking amber brown eyes. Calogero is rather tall for his breed. Being at the height limite, he blames his large size on his long, slender legs. His body may be slender, but beneath his coat is a rather amendable amount of muscle, honed from years of running and training for agility practices. His coat is slightly longer due to not being groomed regularly. The coat itself is thick and colored a deep mahogany liver color. Flecks of rusty orange flow through the pelt, resting mainly along his spine and flanks as if stained by the perforated sunbeams slipping through a dense canopy of trees. The color also stains his legs and dots his muzzle. Two flecks form a sort of set of eye brows as well. His chest is painted with a large splash of white that trails down his belly. Two pieces extend horizontally making a sort of cross-like shape. His left foreleg and lower jaw is stained ivory as well. The most defining feature aside from his cross like marking, are his striking amber orbs. They are naturally a deep brown at the base, but flecked with gold and honey shades giving it the appearance of solid amber. Like most Australian shepherds, he has a docked tail. He however finds no shame in it barely even notices. His ears are slightly arched at all times, not quite pricked in alertness, but enough to keep track of all noises around him. He walks with a fluid, easy gait. He is most often seen as calm and relaxed, often times lethargic. He carries a lazy air about him, as well as a cheerful facade. He may not be the tallest canine, but what he lacks in height he makes up for in speed and agility. He can hold his own when the time calls for it and specializes in diversions. He also has been known to be a runner at times, it has been his most primary duty. In doing so his body is honed and compact, able to slip into the narrowest of corners. PERSONALITY: LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING Calogero is most notibly a cheerful canine. He always has a bit of a bounce to his step and a grin on his face. Though underneath it all is something much more intimidating. He is sweet and loyal to family and those closest to him. Though rather distrusting to anyone on the outside. His disposition is nothing more than a facade. He's strong willed and intimidating being tall for his breed. He is fiercely protective of those in his care. He may seem lethargic, but he is always alert and ready to take on anyone. He may not like to fight, but he will at a moment's notice. He is crafty and slick, knowing the streets like the back of his paw. He has a strategic mind and tries to keep one step ahead at all times. He is rather accustomed to life as a bodyguard so he knows a thing or two about reading others through body language. He's rather skilled and changes face depending on who he's dealing with. CAN YOU KEEP UP? Calogero for all of his lethargic and cheerful appearance, is rather quite charming. He likes to live things fast paced. He is a true romantic and will spoil anyone he takes interest in. He is confident in himself, but not to a point of pure egotism. He may come off initially as a bit cold and empathetic, but he truly is a charmer. He just takes a while to warm up to anyone. He is used to changing his demeanor to suit his jobs and those around him, he has his heart locked away and you would have to work hard to gain his trust. He is accustomed to doing a job, then cutting all ties with it. He is hard headed and hard working, doing his best then getting out as quick as possible. He would have to need someone stubborn enough to chase him before he'd truly see that they were serious. SIMPLE JUST ISN'T MY STYLE Calogero, above all else, loves a challenge. He likes to train and showcase his skills. He will get bored if a job is too easy. Simple is just not his thing. He wants to work for it and use his abilities to the limits. This can be in anything he does. He is also a bit of a wanderlust, never truly staying somewhere too long. It is a wonder he is still in the city. He is still loyal to those close to him so he won't stray too far. But he must always be on the move. He isn't one for the mundane, simple life. He likes adventure and challenges. He has been around the block more than a few times due his training as a runner. He has an excellent memory for the streets of New York. But he still wants to find new places within range of his supposed home. He just can't stand anything routine and easy. HISTORY: Calogero's life has been always consisting of being on the move. He was born into a rather small liter of five pups, but his sire never stuck around long. His mother was a simple house pet turned stray due to abandonment. They lived on the streets and anywhere they could find. They were taken into a shelter for a short period of his life until he was able to be on his own. When he was a year old he left on his own to explore the world. He didn't stay alone long and was picked up by a pack of strays. Given his breeding and his musculature, he was given the role of runner for the pack. He trained himself and memorized the streets so that he could bring back food and other supplies for the pack. It was his first gang and he stayed with them until he was three years old. After leaving the gang, he spent a year on his own. Practicing his skills and scavenging whatever supplies he could find using his training. He made allies with several strays, but never stayed in one place too long. He keeps in contact with some of his siblings, but most have gone their own ways. Though he was on his own, he was more accustomed to living in a pack. As strange as it may seem. So searching around, he heard word of two gangs forming in Brooklyn. He scoped it out and listened to the whispers among his allies. He figured his services could be of use and it'd be easier for him to find food with them. He also was tired of sleeping in trash cans or boxes and they had claimed territory he could rest in. So with that in mind, he took off to join one of the bigger gangs OOC ALIAS: Des RP EXPERIENCE: Lost count, close to or over 10 years now WHERE'D YOU FIND US: And ad on Broken Dreams OTHER: Looking forward to getting back into canine rping.
